preparing for Garden route Bike challenge
At empowermefirst we believe in the values of life long learning through challenges. As a leader founder Brigit Koch is setting an example by challenging herself to cycle from Port Elizabeth to Cape Town (a bit over 800 km) in 10 days.
As she tried to assemble her bike today, she realized that the flight had taking its toll: Both tires were flat, there was a dent in the frame, so she decided to have it checked by a bike shop.
They were most helpful, not just with repairs and advice but also with arranging for her bag to be sent to a bike shop in Cape Town where she could pick it up.
Later she went to the beach and met a group of girls having fun in the water and a couple of treasure hunters as well as a strange object that looked like a kidney or heart.
