Day ten

Day 10 - 71 km, a lot of head wind, our toughest day
--> raised CHF 1570.-

Day ten - Rain, wind, wind, wind...

Day ten was the toughest day on our trip so far. All they there was a strong head wind making it hard to breathe, even after the rain stopped. It was cold and tough. We only managed to cycle at half the speed we would usually do, and it still felt harder. Like we were cycling uphill all day. The wind also made it hard to manipulate the bikes. So, beside Anthony's knee hurting badly, and Brigit's tendon, also our arms were really suffering. We are determined to finish our ride more than ever, yet we have to admit, we are struggling. Only the cause, to fight education poverty and to be able to educate as soon as possilbe, keeps us going. We thus decided to double our pledge today. So, instead of 710.-, we're giving 1420.- for today. We also raised 150.- in donations. Thanks to the kind donors. Please support us, and maybe also match us by giving double of what you' would usually give. Your kindness is much appreciated.

  1. What a bummer that you had such wind on the plain part of the route, where you could have made proper speed. :/
    The only good thing, I guess, is that it also blew much of the rain away.

    And it’s nice to see the lake where I am going to go on Sunday/Monday.
